The first book, Raff's Magic Touch, is about a chameleon that learns that his vibrant colors are actually a gift rather than a disability. Raff, unlike other chameleons, cannot disguise himself from his predators because of his inability to change to certain colors. He is different and stands out form the group.
Instead, he can turn to very beautiful shades of orange and lovely shades of blue with hues of purple. It is through an older chameleon named Max that he learns to be happy for who he is. Just like Raff, we all have a little magic within ourselves.
I emphasize to our young readers that we all have strengths, weaknesses, and problems; but the will power to never give up is the key to success.
In the second book, Raff and the Magical Tour, Raff must learn to believe and find the courage from within to face his problems. Raff, along with many other zoo animals, learns that it is okay to wonder and question differences in others and be prepared to accept them without prejudices.
Ours is a diversified world with a goal to live in peace and harmony, and Raff along with his friends believe in this too.
For your younger readers, I have Raff and Friends Coloring/ Activity, which follows the storyline of the second book. The pages are also perforated for easy removal.
Snowmen at Youth Rally Day, It could be the coolest day of their lives. This book was written for 5th-7th graders in mind. It encompasses friendship, values, courage, trends, respect, self-pride, and relationships. Your youth, like the characters, have much in common.
Growing up looks so good, but getting there is another story. This is the story of a day in the life of a pre-teen. Every day is a lifetime, and for Andrew and Charlie, this is no exception. Life is full of roadblocks and near misses. There is a part of your pre-teen student in this book. We guarantee it.
