Kim D. Nelson is the author and owner of Raff and Friends Children's Books. We have written, illustrated, and published four wonderful books one being a chapter book geared for 5-7 graders.
The books we have published are about finding strength in yourself and overcoming diversity. We are a strong company with a desire to make a difference. We are committed to excellence when it comes to the material presented to your children.
We emphasize that everyone has strengths, dreams, and potential. To understand that everyone is different, but very special, is true magic. Raff and Friends currently offers a school visitation program.
Programs include both half and full day sessions, and evening programs for students in Grades K - 6. I currently conduct up to 5 sessions at each school site. Each session or instructional period is approximately 45 - 60 minutes, but can be adjusted to meet your school's individual needs.
The curriculum is developed within the age and grade level understanding of each developmental level. Times of each session are geared to hold the attention of the children for that particular age group.
